(Richmond, IN)--There have been no arrests so far in a Saturday incident in Richmond which left many Black Lives Matter protestors shaken, but not seriously injured. The group was crossing the intersection of 7th and North A when the driver of a red vehicle revved his engine and then drove into the group. Richmond Common Council member Kelley Cruse-Nicholson witnessed the incident and followed the car, talking with dispatchers who relayed the vehicle’s location to police. No one at the scene required medical treatment. Investigators would still like to speak to other witnesses and hear from anyone who may have video of the incident.
