EARLY VOTING BEGINS TUESDAY AT COURTHOUSE

(Richmond, IN)--Voting gets underway Tuesday.  Most people call it early voting.  Technically, it’s in-person absentee voting.  It’s taking place in the Voter Registration Office on the second floor of the Wayne County Courthouse.  Voters are being strongly encouraged to wear a mask, and a photo ID is a requirement.  Voting will take place at the courthouse only until Saturday the 24th.  That’s when the Kuhlman Center opens.  The Kuhlman Center remains open the following week and will be joined by three other vote centers across the county.  Those four, and four more sites, will be open on the tradition Election Day, which is now four weeks from Tuesday.
