(West Alexandria, OH)--A Camden man took his own life a few hours after robbing a Preble County bank on Tuesday. The man walked into Twin Valley Bank in West Alexandria and handed the teller a note demanding money. He fled in a van, but surveillance images were posted and he was quickly identified. Police contacted the man by phone and asked him to speak with them at his home on Gratis-Jacksonburg Road. He agreed to return to home. As he pulled into the driveway, he shot himself inside the van and was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s name is not being released.
