(Richmond, IN)--There was another shots fired incident Monday in an area of Richmond that has seen multiple incidents this year. But, this time, a teenager was struck by a bullet. A 16-year-old boy was shot in the hand after a bullet passed through an air conditioning unit in the 200 block of Pearl Street. That’s just a couple of blocks away from another shots fired incident early Monday morning. The boy was taken to Reid Health. A house a couple of doors down was also struck by a round at around 3:15 Monday afternoon. The shot that injured the boy appeared to have been fired from an upstairs apartment. No arrests have been made. So far this year, there have been 12 injuries and one death in Richmond as a result of shootings.
