(Wayne County, IN)--Wayne County has passed a milestone for Covid-19 vaccination. 10,034 residents of Wayne County have now received at least the first dose of the vaccine. That represents about 15% of the population. On Thursday, the Wayne County Health Board learned that the county had to borrow 300 doses from Rush County because weather held up Wayne County’s shipment. Those doses are expected to arrive on Monday. About 5200 Wayne County residents have received both doses and are now considered fully vaccinated. Wayne County reported only five new cases Thursday.
