(Connersville, IN)--On Friday morning in Connersville, a man was rescued from a sewer. Here’s how it happened. Three days ago, the man had climbed into a sewer near the Whitewater River to hide from his probation officer. The man worked his way through the sewer under the downtown area but became stuck when his shoulders became wedged. Three days later, at around 2:30 Friday morning, an officer doing a routine check on a bank heard the man screaming. The fire department arrived and got the man out.
