(Richmond, IN)--A burial procession has now been set for a Richmond police officer who was critically injured in the line of duty 26 years ago. Officer Kenny Lester was critically injured when he was responding to a burglary call back in 1995. He died as a result of those injuries a year ago. On the 26th of this month, a procession will leave Doan & Mills Funeral Home, circle around the city building, and then head to Earlham Cemetery for burial. Members of the community are encouraged to line the procession route.
