(Richmond, IN)--Wayne County Commissioners discussed the end of the mask mandate at the state level on Wednesday. Wayne County would have the authority to extend the mandate at the county level even when it ends at the state level on April 6. Commissioner Mary Ann Butters had said this in December. "There are two other words for those people who refuse to wear a mask. It's not 'macho man,' it's 'serial killer.'" She said Wednesday that early April was not the time to end mask-wearing. Ken Paust called it "a shade early." Local leaders could hold a special meeting before April 6 to address any potential changes.
