PUBLIC THANKED FOR HELP IN ARREST OF ALLEGED HIT-AND-RUN DRIVER

(Richmond, IN)--The Richmond Police Department on Tuesday thanked the public for its help in the arrest of a driver who they say fled the scene of a crash that was a juvenile still in ICU Wednesday morning.  30-year-old Dakota Egner allegedly fled the scene after hitting a bicyclist at Woodside Drive and Hayes Arboretum Road last weekend.  Egner is now charged with leaving the scene of a serious bodily injury accident.  Egner was identified after public response to the release of a photo of the vehicle she was driving.
