(Eaton, OH)--A court on Monday rejected the appeal of a Preble County resident and former Ohio Highway Patrol trooper who accosted several juvenile and adult females. 47-year-old Christopher Ward had been found guilty a year and a half ago, but his three-year prison sentence was put on hold for appeal. That ended Monday. "This brings a lot of peace. I'm happy for the other victims and their families. I'm happy for the community." said one girl who Ward assaulted during a stop on U.S. 35 in Preble County. A motion to impose the sentence will be heard November 29 in Preble County Common Pleas Court.
