(Wayne County, IN)--A western Wayne County man is facing some serious charges after an incident Wednesday in the 5300 block of Sugar Grove Road.  The Indiana State Police responded there and located 43-year-old Shawn Lahrman.  Lahrman has been charged with felonies that include domestic battery with a deadly weapon, strangulation, and confinement.  Details of what led to the incident and the condition of the victim have not been released.  Lahrman is a now-former employee of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department and had received an accommodation in 2015 for helping to control unruly inmates.
