(Eaton, OH)--This year’s Preble County Pork Festival had been cancelled indefinitely earlier this spring. But now, after a meeting Thursday night, it’s on again. The festival board will hire the promotion company RMJG Events to work with the board to get the festival back up and running. The county will put up $100,000 to jumpstart it, while RMJG will put in another $100,000. A three-year deal is in the works to keep the festival running through at least 2024. The Preble County Pork Festival, which draws tens of thousands annually, is now set for the third full week of September.
