FOUR ALLEGED BURGLARS CAUGHT IN THE ACT

(Richmond, IN)--Four alleged burglars were caught in the act Tuesday morning.  Richmond police officers were called to a large garage in the 2600 block of Backmeyer Road at around 1:30 Tuesday morning.  Inside, they found Deontae Gabbard, Drew Mills, and Darius and Terill Strickland.  They’re all under the age of 23 but two already have serious criminal records.  Gabbard, according to RPD, has ties to so-called gangs and is due to go on trial for armed robbery in March.  Terill Strickland was charged with criminal recklessness in connection with a shooting on North C in Richmond last July.  He is set to go on trial for that shooting in April.
