PHILLIP LEE MURDER TRIAL PUSHED BACK MONTHS

(Richmond, IN)--The trial for the man charged with shooting and killing Richmond Police Officer Seara Burton last year has now been pushed back by several months.  Phillip Lee was set to go on trial for murder in two weeks.  Now, though, that’s been cancelled and a new pre-trial date has been set for August.  That means Lee would not go on trial until September at the earliest.  That’s more than a year after the shooting.  Until then, Lee will continue to be held in the state prison system.
