(Richmond, IN)--Jail staffers in Wayne County were able to prevent a batch of deadly fentanyl from entering the jail. Wayne County Sheriff Randy Retter said over the weekend that staffers noticed suspicious behavior from a person visiting the jail lobby. A security sweep turned up the fentanyl in a public restroom. The drugs were left in an attempt to get it to an inmate inside. Retter did not indicate in his release if any arrests were made.
