(Eaton, OH)--A Preble County man has been jailed for allegedly attacking a teacher.  It began when the man’s son was told he would not be able to wear red shoes during an Eaton Middle School band performance.  44-year-old Shawn Vorhees then allegedly confronted the teacher in the school parking lot and struck him multiple times.  The teacher was not seriously injured.  Vorhees is now being held without bond in the Preble County Jail on charges that include assault and resisting arrest.  Vorhees also allegedly assaulted a jail staffer.
