(Richmond, IN)--Another proposed solar park for Richmond will be addressed Wednesday afternoon.  This solar park would be located on U.S. 40 between Richmond and Centerville.  More specifically, it would be on 26 acres just east of Round Barn Road and on the north side of 40.  The land is currently owned by First Bank Richmond.  It is projected to create eight megawatts of electricity to be used by Richmond Power & Light.  The solar panels would be contained inside a seven-foot-tall fence with another foot of barbed wire.  It would also become Richmond’s eighth solar park.  The Board of Zoning Appeals will hear the plan at 5:30 Wednesday afternoon.
