A semi pulled over by an Indiana State Trooper Friday afternoon resulted to the discovery of a large amount of cocaine. The semi, with no trailer, was eastbound on I-70 east of Post Road and was pulled over for failing to signal a lane change. The state trooper began to be suspicious of the driver and called ina K9 to assist with the investigation. A search followed that found approximated 154 pounds of cocaine inside the sleeper-birth of the semi. Street value of the seizure, according to the ISP Drug investigations section is estimated to be 2.8 million dollars. The 43-year-old driver, from California, was arrested on drug charges and transported to the Marion County jail.
