(Richmond, IN)--Earlier this week, Richmond Mayor Dave Snow told Common Council that the city was considering a burn ban due to dry conditions that could affect fireworks.  On Wednesday, a message from the fire department indicated that’s not likely to happen, but it did remind residents of fireworks protocol.  Regardless of conditions, personal fireworks cannot legally be set off inside the city until June 29^th and only then between five in the afternoon and two hours after sunset.  The department also said that there is an increased risk this year due to dry conditions.
