(Whitewater Valley)--Last month, there was a big drop in area unemployment.  Now, there’s been a big jump that put it right back where it was.  According to new numbers from the state, Wayne County’s unemployment rate has increased from 2.7 to 3.6% in just a month.  3.6% is what the number was in March.  In the last month, 278 Wayne County residents have been added to the list of those unemployed while the number in the labor force stayed the same.  Other area counties saw even larger increases in the last month, including Fayette County, which went from 3.5 to 4.7%.
