(Wayne County, IN)--There are some new housing numbers for Wayne County included in Forward Wayne County’s new 2023 report.  That study shows that the median home value in Wayne County is far below Indiana’s average.  Wayne County’s median value is $120,000.  The state’s median value is $182,000.  Only 14% of Wayne County homes are worth more than $200,000.  But, across the state, that number is 44%.  Local economic development leaders have said that mid-range housing is critical to attracting and maintaining quality employees to the area.
