(Preble County, OH)--Here’s more on the development of the property on U.S. 40 near the state line that Kicks 96 and 101.7 The Point News reported Wednesday.  Two weeks ago, the former home of a truck stop was purchased for $3.2 million.  It was purchased by an organization called “United Highway 70 LLC.”  A filing with the state lists the property use as a "carry-on gas station with convenience store."  Preble County leaders say they have not been contacted by the new property owners.  About a thousand trees were recently taken down at the site.
