(Richmond, IN)--Someone has been trying to take advantage of the fact that funding is still needed for the Fourth of July fireworks on Roosevelt Hill in Richmond.  Over the weekend, Councilwoman Dr. Lucinda Wright notified the American Legion Post 65 that people were standing at the busy corner of South 37^th and East Main with handwritten signs saying they were collecting donations for the fireworks.  Post 65 said those people have no association with Legion and that donations are accepted at their location on North 6^th.
