His love for the local community and country music makes him a perfect fit for our Brewer Broadcasting team. Sean brings a sincerity to the airwaves that quickly makes you feel like you're listening to a long time friend. When Sean isn't on air as part of the Kicks Morning Crew, you can find him performing around the Midwest with his band.

Barbara

Monday - Friday 7:00pm - 11:00pm

I grew up in Clarksville, TN - just outside Nashville. I was lucky enough to grow up immersed in the world of country music. As a teenager in the 90s, I once stood in line for 12 hours to meet Garth Brooks. He was awesome, but my mom thought I was insane! Yes, I’m still a music dork. In my free time I volunteer with animal rescues and dream about traveling the world. I have 2 little rescue pups named Mazikeen and Bernice. As Bob Barker would say, “Spay and Neuter your pets!” and “Adopt, don't shop!”

Tune in from 7:00pm - 11:00p for your favorite country artists, facts, things going on, and more! Be sure to use the Kicks 96 FM Mobile app and send in your song requests.

The Bro Man

Brody “The Bro-Man” Ulerick joined the radio business in August of 2024, working for Brewer Broadcasting. Ever since, he’s made a name for himself as "The Bro-Man" and launched his own show, Summer Sundays with The Bro-Man, which debuted on June 1st, 2025.

Brody is from the small town of Dublin, Indiana. He grew up listening to Kicks 96 every morning with his dad, Nathan. He’s always been interested in Camaros, RC vehicles, and mowing—you can usually find him on a mower running his business, The Red Deed Lawn Services. When he's not doing that, he's often helping out at the local fire station.

His interest in radio began after joining a HAM radio club, and once he started with Brewer, he turned that interest into real on-air experience. Sean from the Kicks Morning Crew brought him in as a guest speaker, and Brody instantly fell in love with radio. He started the application process that very day. It’s been a long journey, but he earned that show—and now, you can catch him on the airwaves every Sunday from 3 to 5 PM!

John Ritter

Sunday's from 10:00a-12:00p

Your weekly dose of Inspiration with John Ritter

John has been directly involved in the music business since he was a young child. At eight years old and before ever having a voice lesson, he was singing in church and talent contests. His natural-born musical ability continued to improve during high school, where he played the bass guitar and sang with several local bands. After attending Saint Petersburg Junior College, he received his master’s degree in speech pathology from the University of South Florida.

Rise Up Country’s mission statement is to tell people not to give up, that God loves them, and there is hope. John likes to say it’s where we get our weekly dose of inspiration and a message of hope. John wants to see families stay together, and as a proud dad, one of the most important messages he hopes to convey is to love your children. John knows how precious family can be. He and his wife almost lost their son, Johnny, to a violent attack, so they’ve learned to appreciate every moment with their children and the power of prayer.
