(Richmond, IN)--Weekend flooding took a toll on some area roads and bridges, and that includes Waterfall Road in Richmond, which remained closed at the bridge near Springwood Park Tuesday morning.  Mayor Ron Oler Monday night explained why the bridge may not be repaired anytime soon.  "It looks like there is more damage than  just the pavement coming off the top, so it might be a period of time before it gets reopened," Oler said.  Wayne County – not the city - will be handling the repairs.  Meanwhile, Brookville Lake continued to rise Monday, but not nearly as fast.  It sat Tuesday morning at 12 feet over its normal summer level.
