The National Weather Service released their current tornado report this week. 45 tornadoes have touched down on Indiana so far this year, including (25) EF1s and (7) EF2s. The events occurred between March 15 and April 10, reaching the earliest ever threshold since 1950. Indiana has not seen (45) tornados by April the 10th. The previous record of (45) tornados fell late in May of 2011.
Severe storms could hit central Indiana late Friday, especially north and west of Richmond, with rain likely to linger through Easter weekend.
