Officers arrested a third person in connection with a stabbing in a Richmond neighborhood that took place earlier this month. Detectives arrested 47 year-old Michael Cavanaugh in the 200 block of South 7th Street on Friday. The suspect was wanted on a felony warrant in connection with a stabbing April 11 in the 3500 block of W. National Road. Two people were injured and transported to Reid Health, but have since been released. Cavanaugh was booked on several felonies, including two counts of kidnapping and one count each of criminal confinement and intimidation with a deadly weapon. As we previously reported, 27 year-old Jasmin Cash of Richmond and 31 year-old Shane Cail of Cambridge City were arrested separately this month in connection with this incident.
