(Richmond, IN)--I-70 was blocked for hours Monday when a crane toppled over in the Revive I-70 construction area.  It happened at just after noon Monday in the eastbound lanes near the Reservoir Road overpass.  Eastbound traffic was immediately brought to a standstill.  Traffic quickly backed up and diverted onto Richmond streets, which were then clogged for most of the afternoon.  INDOT indicated eastbound 70 reopened after about four hours.  There’s no word on what caused the incident or whether or not there were any injuries.
