BULLYING ALLEGATIONS LEAD TO LAWSUIT AGAINST RCS, CITY
(Richmond, IN)--An allegation of two years of bullying has led to a lawsuit that’s been filed against Richmond Community Schools and the City of Richmond. According to the details contained in the lawsuit, a minor girl underwent bullying for two years that included being pushed into a wall, punched in the head, and touched in a sexual manner. The lawsuit alleges that school officials knew about the alleged bullying, but did nothing to keep it from continuing. The city is named in the lawsuit because it provides a school resource officer. The school district and the city have not yet filed responses with the court. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.
