(Whitewater Valley)--Two more highway closures are coming to the Whitewater Valley.  Beginning a week from Monday, State Road 1 will close between I-70 and State Road 38 for a series of pipe replacements.  The closure will be only Monday through Friday from 7 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon and will last for about three weeks.  On that same day, Monday the 28^th, U.S. 27 will close in both directions in Randolph County near County Road 250 South, which is a couple of miles south of Winchester.  INDOT said yesterday that the closure will remain in place through the end of next month and will allow crews to complete a box culvert replacement project.
