(Union County, IN)--A multi-vehicle crash closed U.S. 27 for a couple of hours in Union County early Sunday afternoon.  It happened at the intersection of 27 and Mitchell Road, which is a couple of miles south of the Wayne County line.  Scanner traffic indicated that one elderly female was trapped in a one of the vehicles and that she was unresponsive.  Union County has not released any details of the crash or the identities and conditions of those involved.
