(Richmond, IN)--Monday is the last day that traffic on westbound I-70 will be able to exit onto westbound U.S. 40 for two months.  A sign on I-70 at the state line Monday morning indicated that the exit will shut down at 8 o’clock Monday night.  A previous release from INDOT said that the closure will remain in place for two months. It also means that east-side Richmond businesses will see their volume from interstate travelers be effectively cut in half.  That interchange is undergoing major reconstruction as part of Revive I-70.
