(Brookville, IN)--Brookville Lake turns 50 years old this weekend, and there are plenty of events to mark the milestone.  It kicks off Friday afternoon with a ceremony at the overlook near the dam at 1 o’clock.  A parade on Main Street in Brookville steps off at 5 o’clock, and there will be live music on the courthouse lawn from 6 until 9 Friday night.  Since its dedication in 1975, Brookville Lake is estimated to have contributed $100 million to the Whitewater Valley economy.
