(Richmond, IN)--A chase Thursday morning through downtown Richmond had a strange conclusion.  60-year-old Alvis Jarvis allegedly fled a traffic stop at North 15^th and E at 1 o’clock Thursday morning.  Police found the car on South 12^th, but Jarvis was nowhere to be found.  A couple of hours later, Jarvis called dispatchers to say that his car had been stolen.  He was taken into custody on North West C.  He’s charged with resisting causing bodily injury.
