(Richmond, IN)--Plans are progressing for a new hotel on West Eaton Pike in Richmond.  The property, which is directly across from the entrance to Lowe’s, has sold for $1.3 million to a developer.  Plans call for a four-story.  It would be owned and operated by TownPlace Suites of Marriott, which currently operates more than 275 hotels across the U.S. and Canada.  It would be the 11^th hotel at the U.S. 40 / I-70 interchange.  There are currently about 950 hotel rooms in Richmond and Wayne County.
