(Connersville, IN)--An elderly man suffered serious injuries when he was struck by an SUV in Connersville on Saturday night.  First responders were sent to the area of 5^th Street and Eastern Avenue on an initial report of a pedestrian being struck.  A medical helicopter was called to take the victim to a Level One trauma center.  There has been no official word on the man’s identity or condition.
