Taylor Swift Ties a 53-Year-Old Record

Taylor Swift's latest album shares a ranking with Carole King's Grammy Award-winning "Tapestry" LP. "Tapestry" spent 15 weeks atop the Billboard 200 album chart in 1971, the 3rd most weeks for an album by a female.  Swift's "The Tortured Poets Department" is at number one for the 15th week, tying King's 3rd place record.  "The Bodyguard" soundtrack holds the 2nd place record at 20 weeks. Adele's "21" remains in 1st place at a whopping 24 weeks.

Swift is going into September's MTV Video Music Awards with 10 nominations, the most of any artist. Almost all of which were for her "Fortnight" video with Post Malone.
