(Eaton, OH)--A judge has ruled that the Eaton woman who admitted to drowning her own grandmother in a kitchen sink is competent to stand trial.  35-year-old Heidi Matheny’s sanity was questioned, according to Preble County Common Pleas Court documents.  She then underwent formal evaluation.  Back in November, Alice Matheny was found dead on Somers Street in Eaton.  Matheny remains in the Preble County Jail and is due back in court in early March.
