RCS BOARD SEEKS INPUT ON PROPOSED SCHEDULE CHANGE

(Richmond, IN)--It will be a few weeks at a minimum before the Richmond Community School Board decides whether or not to implement a different schedule for the next school year.  That schedule would significantly push back the start time of school each day for intermediate and high school students.  In those few weeks, the Board is looking for input on the issue from parents and teachers.  "We're going to investigate a little more.  We want more input.  Then, we'll hopefully have it up for a vote at the next School Board meeting," said RCS Board member Stacy Mopps.  If the proposal passes, each school day would start at around 9 a.m. for intermediate and high school students.
