Here are some of the highlights over the past year: The poverty level for Wayne County is up nearly three percent. Per capita income rose by nearly $3300 and stands at $48,785. The median home value in Wayne County has increased to more than $120,000, but home ownership is down 3.5%. Wayne County ranks 76th out of 92 Indiana counties for overall health factors.
