(Richmond, IN)--Seth Smith and his company, Cornerstone Trading Group, filed a response Wednesday to the class-action lawsuit resulting from the April industrial fire in Richmond.  In the response, attorneys for Smith make the claim that the fire started on property owned by the city.  The city remains a third-party defendant.  Attorneys in Wednesday’s response reiterated their claim that the fire was caused by an unknown arsonist.  There has still been no information released by the state fire marshal’s office about the specific cause or any suspect information.
