ADMINISTRATORS TO MONITOR REPAIRS TO REOPEN ROSE HAMILTON ELEMENTARY

(Centerville, IN)--Both Centerville Fire and Rescue and Centerville-Abington Schools issued statements Monday on the situation at Rose Hamilton Elementary, which suffered a significant water main break on Sunday.  Fire and Rescue was on site already on Sunday running tanker operation drills when they made entry and found water coming up through the floor.  Superintendent Dr. Mike McCoy said Monday that they’re focusing on getting the building ready for students to arrive rather than using virtual instruction, but McCoy did not give a date and said that they cannot make the solution come any faster.  McCoy said they would monitor repairs each day and then notify parents when students can return.
