(Richmond, IN)--Roundabouts.  Just saying the word can conjure up a range of emotions from drivers, and most of them are not good.  A presentation was held Wednesday night at IU East by project managers for the Revive I-70 project.  That’s the name of the plan to widen I-70 to three lanes through most of Wayne County.  One of the biggest changes will come to the interchange of 70 and U.S. 40 at the state line.  Currently, plans call for a complete reconstruction of the interchange with loop ramps removed.  Those will be replaced by a diamond interchange with roundabouts and even pedestrian facilities and sidewalks.  You can see an online presentation Thursday night at 6.
