The Liberty Town Council held their regularly scheduled public meeting earlier this week and accepted the resignation of Andrew Jordan as Liberty Chief of Police. Jordan’s resignation came after a personnel decision that occurred in executive session several weeks prior. Todd Dickinson was then nominated to replace Jordan and that was unanimously approved, naming Dickinson as interim chief of police while a formal search for replacement would begin at the end of the year or early 2024.  According to the story in Whitewater Publications, Jordan has taken a position with Centerville’s police force.
