(Richmond, IN)--Richmond has been in need of more firefighters and police officers, and that need was partially alleviated Monday.  Richmond Mayor Dave Snow swore in nine new firefighters and three new police officers.  Snow talked about it at Monday night’s meeting of the Richmond Common Council.  "It's very exciting to see this new generation coming into a rewarding career of first response," Snow said.  The city is still in need of between ten and 12 police officers to be fully staffed.
