(Darke County, OH)--In Darke County Monday night, the pilot of a motor-powered parachute escaped serious injury when he became stuck in a tree.  37-year-old Devan Spurlock was flying in the area of Richmond-Palestine Road when he lost control and crashed into a tree about 15 feet off the ground.  Firefighters used a ladder truck to get Spurlock down.  The accident remains under investigation.
