(Wayne County, IN)--The search was on Tuesday morning for the suspect in a fatal hit-and-run incident just northwest of Richmond.  At around 2:30 Tuesday morning, a person was struck and killed.  That person’s body was found in a ditch near the intersection of U.S. 35 and Flatley Road.  That’s in the area of Love’s Truck Stop and I-70.  Drones were launched into the area and the Indiana State Police had also become involved.  Scanner traffic indicated that police were searching for a white male wearing blue jeans and a light shirt who may have been running in the area of I-70.  No other details about the incident have been released.
