(Richmond, IN)--More information was released later Tuesday about the fatal hit-and-run on U.S. 35 near Love’s that Kicks 96 and 101.7 The Point News reported Tuesday morning.  When they arrived on the scene at 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, deputies found an abandoned car with extensive front-end damage near the victim and the bicycle he was riding.  RPD officers found the registered owner of the car, who was home at the time. That person gave officers the name of the driver, who was found stumbling down Industries Road two hours later.  That person was taken to Reid Health and has not been jailed yet.  The victim’s name has not been released.
