(Richmond, IN)--Trial remains on in a month for a Richmond mother for neglect resulting in serious and catastrophic injuries to her four-month-old daughter.  That girl’s father, Matthew Shaffer, was sentenced last week to 30 years in prison for his role in the crime.  Casey Miller faces similar charges.  Three years ago, the baby suffered brain damage and fractures as a result of being violently shaken.  Miller is not currently a Wayne County inmate.
