(Richmond, IN)--The city of Richmond has issued a response to a claim by the family of a New Paris woman who say that she died as a result of the My Way Trading fire.  That family, through their Dayton law firm, has filed notice of a pending $2.1 million lawsuit.  City Attorney A.J. Sickmann said Wednesday that the city is aware of the notice filed, but cannot comment on pending litigation.  This lawsuit is not connected to the class-action lawsuit filed by two Richmond residents.  The case will now go through a federal court.
